The Indian Dream

It’s almost 3am, just completed some work and was checking my feed on X, and it’s full of white pills, people genuinely optimistic, celebrating, congratulating each other on Independence Day. 79 years of independence.

Of course there are problems, there are many problems. But so what? That’s not a reason to be black pilled. We’re the ones who will solve them, and build a better society than the one we inherited. Of course it’s not easy. Building a civilization can’t be easy, can it? And there’s not a single magical moment that will get us ‘there’. But it’s a billion people choosing to believe in this country. That’s the only mechanism that’ll work at this scale.

I’m 21 and broke, I don’t know yet exactly what I’ll build. But I know where I’ll build it. Not because I have to. Because I want to, and I get to.

Jai Hind, Happy Independence Day!

And just because I’m writing this at 3am doesn’t mean it’s an overactive amygdala :)

Sure it might have its fair share, but more importantly, it’s data. A country of young and aspirational minds, it’s not a question of if, just when. Or at least that’s what I choose to believe. And the more we believe it, the sooner it will be.
